Christmas 2009

Or the Day After

Candy had to work on Christmas Day, so it was decided that we would celebrate on the 26th, with dinner at Gwendolyn's.

Probably just as well, since Peri had been ill much of the night before and was kind of blah on the 26th.
The table was beautiful, and the grown-ups would enjoy a spectacular dinner, but Frankie just picked and Peri enjoyed chicken broth.

Dinner began with artichokes.
We enjoyed it very much - Peri, too, but Frankie passed.
This was followed by Shrimp Bisque.
After opening a few presents, we had shrimp cocktail.
Then a few more presents until the main course:
Twice-baked potatoes and Chateaubriand.
Cookies and apple pie were dessert.
Peri perked up quite a bit as the evening wore on.
She turned into a puppy.  Frankie wants us to notice her doggie ears..

Aren't they lovely.
I'm not sure what the game was here -
Perhaps more puppying.

Wish you were here!
After all that food, we just sat and chatted.

God Bless us Everyone!
