Cuisinart Food Processor
14 cup

I got a new toy!

It's relatively complicated, so all I did yesterday was
unpack it - and watch the DVD.

Cuisinart Food Processor, 14 cup, just out of the box.
Today I made peanut butter.
I used the large bowl and about 12 ounces of ordinary cocktail peanuts.
Making Peanut Butter - just starting to grind the peanuts.

Not quite ready yet.  Too grainy.
Peanut Butter - still chunky - will need more processing.

I added about a tablespoon of honey and a tablespoon of grapeseed oil.

Add oil and honey to the peanut butter.

All done - now placed in a mason jar in the refrigerator.
Homemade Peanut Butter. All done.

Delicious!
Mild flavor.
PB&J on crackers.
On Ritz® crackers with Dickinson's® Bing Cherry spreadable fruit.

Compare my ingredients with a jar of store peanut butter.
I used:
12 ounces of  salted peanuts
1 tablespoon honey
1 tablespoon grapeseed oil.

Tomorrow it's homemade pasta - chicken tortellini and ravioli.

We're becoming quite the Cuisinart fans.
Our first was the hand-mixer.
Then came the 5 quart stand mixer.
And today a coffee grinder.
